Multidisciplinary Management of Placenta Accreta Avoiding Maternal Mortality in a High-Risk Center- Case Report

Background: Placenta Accreta (PA) constitute a spectrum of abnormal placentation associated with significant increase in maternal morbidity and mortality. Antenatal diagnosis PA has transcendental importance the orientation multidisciplinary management showing substantial reduction hemorrhagic complications. Case Presentation: A patient 36.4 weeks gestation ultrasound findings placenta previa high probability increta was attended our high-risk center. Cesarean section hysterectomy performed at 37 weeks. During surgical procedure, it found infiltration up to uterine serosa level segment adjacent bladder. hysterotomy corpus uterus healthy newborn obtained. Ligation hypogastric arteries bilaterally total abdominal achieved. The received transfusion red blood cells, platelets, cryoprecipitates fresh frozen plasma required vasopressor support favorable evolution avoiding fetal review this case highlights that by team reduces complications morbidity-mortality patients accreta as is currently public health problem. Conclusions: maternal-perinatal outcomes not only depend on availability prenatal but also organization group application standardized providing care centers.
